Ben Speciale is trained as a litigator but has a broad range of experience across several legal disciplines. He represents and advises clients in employment matters, key business transactions, and in designing winning strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively—from small intracompany disagreements to bet-the-business litigation.

His practice focuses on the needs of emerging companies, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs. Ben's clients include commercial landlords and tenants, healthcare practitioners, law firms, marketing firms, private lenders, and restaurants, all of whom have come to expect the attention of an attorney who will take the time necessary to truly understand their industry and the nuances of the obstacles they face.

Ben counsels clients in all stages of their business life-cycle, spanning business formations through mergers of professional practices and company dissolution. In dispute resolution, Ben represents clients throughout all phases of a conflict, beginning with negotiation before an action is filed through appeals to the highest courts.

His appellate experience includes appeals to federal Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. As a law clerk, Ben wrote bench memoranda for judges including Sonia Sotomayor and was part of a team of appellate law clerks that focused on the unique issues presented by immigration and asylum appeals.

Ben lives in Center City with his wife and enjoys his mornings rowing on the Schuylkill River.
